Doing Christmas My Way

1. Plan Ahead ~ How easy and Great of an Idea is this?? LOL.. I know that many of us including myself forget the importance of a List!! Lists can be great for Christmas I have 2! I have one that I keep all year round that helps me remember who I need to buy for with ideas for gifts and the other is the one that helps me keep track of what gifts I pick up and names from the previous ones next to them.

2. Swag Bucks ~ thanks to a friend of mine intruding me to this site I have already earned enough for a *Christmas present for my daughter and myself **teehee** If you haven't already done so Sign up for Swag Bucks RIGHT NOW!I can't express how easy and great this program is! I know with this program most of my shopping will be done online and I won't have to venture into the the mad rush :) It's so simple.. Just Search and earn. You can earn swag bucks and trade them in for gift cards for Amazon, Target, PayPal and more. Although it is quite easy to earn you will need to start as soon as possible in time for the shopping season :) Go Here to sign up Now and start searching I will start placing hints on here and facebook in order for you to find the misc codes thrown out there for us to grab!

3. Online Deals ~ Some of the hottest deals will be available online! Amazon is a great example you remember my *Christmas for myself and daughter I mentioned in above? Well I used my Swag Bucks and redeemed them for Amazon gift cards!! I have on order/ shipped (1) Disney Sing it Bundle with microphone for the Wii and (1) Coby flip style hand held camcorder :) Yankee Candle, Barnes and Noble, Bath & Body and Old Navy are some of my other favorites to shop online because there is always blow out sales & coupon codes to go along with them...

4. Vista Print ~ Go here and sign up for their emails and you will be notified of their Freebies... These include TOTE BAGS, HATS, COFFEE MUGS, T-SHIRTS and more... But the ones I listed will be great for Christmas and yes these are FREE you will just have to pay for shipping.... best thing about Planning ahead is you can do the slowest shipping and cut the cost down dramatically

5. Semi Homemade/ Homemade Gifts ~ Candles, Soaps, Baked Goodies, Ornaments, Gift Baskets (from your stockpile), No Sew Blankets ** I'm making a few this year and will do a tutorial for those interested** Really there are tons of things out there that can be made and appreciated for pennies on the dollar especially combining sales and coupons :)

Keep an eye open because I will be updating frequently :) Do you have some ideas on how to do Christmas on a budget?? I'm looking for ideas for gifts and decorations :) Let me know
